The Artist: George Lawrence - Oroville, California
| I was born in western Pennsylvania and now live in northern
California. I spent about twelve years in the U.S. Air Force where I
served as a B-52 navigator-bombardier and a minuteman missile crew
commander. I then went to seminary and served as a pastor for twenty-three
years until I retired in June, 2002. I have always been a pen collector so
when my brother-in-law got me interested in pen turning, it was a natural
step for me to start turning my own pens. I enjoy the craft very much.
